Street workers finding Jesus in Winnipeg

The other day I was flipping through an alliance church magazine when I spotted this ad for a ministry called Dignity House. For some reason it caught my eye. I flipped over to their website on my laptop and found out that they are a new ministry in Winnipeg that works with girls that want to transition out of the sex trade industry. I contacted the director and asked her if she was in need of any Bibles to give the girls. She answered with a resounding YES. I meet her for coffee at a downtown church and we talked about how we could help her with Bibles, the Life Recovery Bible in particular. I brought a case of them with me, along with some other outreach geared Bibles and was able to find a donor to cover the cost. She was so happy to have Bibles on hand that deal with many of the issues that these women are facing. I am looking forward to the next time she orders Bible, which means that many of these street women now have the Word of God in their hands, hearts and on the road to recovery.
Thank you to all our supporters who make this ministry possible.
